Best Practices on Manufacturing Engagement and Retention Webinar

July 20, 2021 from 4:00 am to 5:00 am PDT

The Manufacturing Institute Webinar

Manufacturers continue to suggest that they do not have enough talent, and while attracting new entrants into the workforce in the sector remains of paramount importance, it is also crucial that business leaders work to keep the workers that they have, especially given the costs to replace key employees for firms. With that in mind, The Manufacturing Institute and the American Psychological Association examined best practices for retention among manufacturers and explored the motivating factors that affect worker retention, both through a survey and structured interviews.

Register Today

This webinar will highlight the findings of that analysis, focusing on work flexibility and employee satisfaction, recognition and experiences. In addition, we will hear from a manufacturer about the initiatives that they put into place, including a “retention toolbox” for managers to assist in retaining their strongest talent.

Featured Speakers:

  • Chad Moutray, Director, MI Center for Economic Research, The Manufacturing Institute
  • David Ballard, Former Senior Director, Office of Applied Psychology, American Psychological Association
  • Mai Lan Nguyen, Human Resources Senior Vice President, Schneider Electric
